The American People
This repeat offense features Dubya claiming to know exactly what the American people are thinking. Inspired by Dana Milbank's White House Notebook article (Washington Post) of June 3, 2002. Thank you to the several readers who brought it to my attention.

1. The American people also understand that the object of any terrorist activity is to cause Americans to abandon their lifestyles. (Oct. 29, 2001)
